Welcome to Goody's website!

Do you want to know about me?

Goody Uzoma, born on the 16th April, 1973 one cool early morning at Owerre-Nkwoji, a town not popular among the easterners, located in Nkwerre local Government area of Imo state, in Nigeria.

Looking up with a dream and a vision of transforming Nigeria and Africa by the power of God and God's unlimited wealth.

I had my primary school  at Community Central School, Owerre-Nkwoji, in my town, then later proceeded to Eziachi Secondary school, Orlu after winning a scholarship from a British Company - Crocodile Matchet Nigeria Limited- through an examination contest which needed just the best  candidate. I felt my former school was not good enough for me and this led to my changing over to St. Augustine's Grammar School, Nkwerre which was one of the best in Imo State then. I spent 2 years there and was not still satisfied and changed to Federal Government College, PortHarcourt where I finished my secondary school education in flying colour. Shortly after coming out of the secondary school, I was confronted with the challenge of JAMB. It was during the period of waiting for my admission to enter into the university that the vision of lost souls won my heart and subsequently I went into the mission field as a missionary under NECO(National Evangelism Christian outreach where I served for about 5 years. During the period of my missionary work I under went the admission to study Medicine came. I sought for counsel from friends and I was encouraged to accept the admission. That was how I found myself in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from where I graduated in flying colours. To God be The Glory

Glimpses of Venice
With 400 bridges and 114 canals, Venice is a tourist's and photographer's dream. Uniqueness and stories seep out of each slight bend in Venice's narrow corridors and calli (paths). Look on my Photo pages for pictures of Venice.

Getting Places in Venice
This picture shows some of the boats that act as lifelines for the citizens of Venice. Venice is famous for its gondolas, which work well for traveling on shallow water, but, in reality, residents travel using motorboats--the always-black gondolas are reserved for tourists.

Beginning Photography Tips
Make sure you have the correct film for what you're trying to do. For example, 400, a faster speed, is more suitable for action shots than 200. To become more of a photographer than a person snapping pictures, do some slightly different things with your composition. For example, try placing subjects off-center, using natural lines or frames, or taking the picture from a different angle.

Let There Be Light
As this picture demonstrates, lighting can show the glory of the ordinary. For the best results, take pictures in the morning and evenings; the light at dawn and dusk brings depth and softness to objects and people.
